Gateway to the Skies

I see the gateway lit above the clouds
To worlds that lie beyond my dreaming eyes.
The place he waits for me.
His face behind soft billows of wisp shrouds
Until I take his hand and reach the skies
Then once more love is free.

And yet my dream is here beside me now
I feel his touch, I hear his voice and sigh
Why can’t I see you too?
Open space in heart as left beneath the bough
I do need you but I am left to cry
Because I ain’t got you.

Spiralling Dreams

Images

colliding,

twisting,

turning.

Mentality

shredding,

failing,

falling.

Thoughts

escape,

there is none.

Nightmares the haunting reality.

Illusionary Skies

The stars glisten between billowing clouds,
Flirting with the mists of my silent dream.
Floating in the illusion of mystic shrouds,
Shimmer as gems in the pale moonlight’s beam.

Dreams that free us from the every day life
To find the fantasy within the mind.
Premonition or just a break from strife
In dream world, all is waiting there to find.

Castles in the sky shine for me in sleep,
Fair maiden heroes battling against foe.
Sat in strawberry fields alone to weep,
It doesn’t matter I am set to go.

Released a world of cerulean sky,
Illusions that go far beyond the eye.
