For The Love of You

What would I do just for the love of you?
I would swim across oceans deep so I could prove
That the heart in me beats honest and true,
There is no one thing I would not try move.

How do we find the love that dwells in us?
It lies beneath ev’ry stone within earth
A force of nature given with no fuss
A source of joy, sadness and so much mirth.

Such a small word that covers immense feelings
Just four letters that convey beyond sight
A joining o souls, a sensual healing
Softens a world cursed with an evil blight.

In one word a need to protect and care
The freedom to belong, a life to share.
